1. How Do I Add Friends On Hala ? You can add friends on Hala by: 1. Selecting the add new friend icon located in the bottom right corner of the screen, clicking the add friends by Hala ID and searching their ID's. 2. Click on the icon in the top left corner, you’ll see "Invite friends" and Hala will sync your phone contact list. If the user has already joined Hala, you can click to add. You can also invite friends who have not joined. 2. My Account Information Has Been Changed but I Didn't Do Anything (Friends List, Mood, Status, Etc.) Please check and see if you have logged in with the right account. If you have logged in with the right account and there are still stuff missing, it might be because of bad network connection. Please check your network connection. If it still does not work, please go to the Friends tab and click on Support then report issue. 3. How Can I Edit My Personal Information On Hala? You can just edit your name and profile Pic, and select your mood and status. It’s also recommended to set a unique ID to let other people find you. But once you have set your Hala ID, you will not be able to change it. 4. How to login and logout? Currently in Hala app, you can login by your mobile number. Open Hala app then enter your mobile number and follow the steps. To logout click top left icon to go to Profile page. Click settings icon at the top right corner. Click “Logout”at the bottom of the page. 5. How Can I Turn Off Push Notifications? Android users: Go to the profile tab and click on the Settings icon located at the top right corner and click on the button next to "Notification". IOS users: Go to IPhone Settings > Notifications > Hala > Allow/disallow Notifications. 6. Why Has My Account Been Suspended? In order to protect our users and provide perfect video chatting experience,any accounts engaging in the activities specified below may be temporarily locked and/or subject to permanent suspension. ● Abusive behavior ● Pornography and Other Sexually Explicit Conduct ● Harassment ● Spam, Scams, and Other Malicious Conduct ● appropriate Behavior and Attire: Nudity and conduct involving overtly sexual behavior and/or attire are prohibited ●Breaking the Law; You must respect all applicable local, national, and international laws while using our services. You can report inappropriate users during your chat, by clicking on the more icon in the top right corner of the chat page to report. While you are talking on the audio or video call, you can click the shield with the "!" under the profile pic of that user. Reporting inappropriate behavior helps us make the Hala community safe and fun. 8. Is There Any Risk of Personal Information Leakage? Hala emphasizes on user’s privacy. Hala treats all user information with strict confidentiality and is never sold, rented, or shared to any third parties. The only information shared to other users is the information in your Hala profile that you are able to view. 9.How Do I Send Messages on Hala? Sending a message to your friends on the friends list, you can choose text, audio call or video call. 10. I want to delete my account We're sorry to see you go. If there's any specific reason you've chosen to leave, please take the time to let us know why. Keep in mind that you will lose all your friends and messages permanently, please go to your profile tab and click on the Settings icon located at the top right corner of the screen, then at the bottom of the screen, you can select "Delete account". 11.How Can I Use the Video Call or Audio Call Feature? You can make a video call or audio call to all the friends on your friends list. Click the person on your friends list and choose one icon located under your friend’s profile pic. 12. How Do I Block Friends? You can block your friend by going to your Contacts. Select the friend, press “more” icon located in the top right corner and select Block. Once you have blocked your friend, you won't get any messages from him or her. You can unblock your friend by going to "Settings" and clicking on the "Block List". 13. Others Can't Hear Any Sounds.
